British Columbia Beer Guide - Breweries in B.C. and Their Beers

Old Yale Brewing Co. - Add Comments/Rate this Brewery

This very small brewery was started in early 2000 by Larry Caza.  Currently selling draught beer in kegs and half kegs. Everything I hear about this brewery is good - from the 'Sierra Nevada influence' to the use of whole "hops". One to look out for if you are in the Chilliwack area.

Pale Ale (Pale Ale, 5.25%) Sergeant's IPA (India Pale Ale, 5.5%)

I am always thrilled when I go out to visit my daughter in Vancouver because I can have the Pale Ale. I have never had such a great tasting beer, and knowing that the brewery standards are so high. It's about as "healthy" as you can get drinking beer! Keep up the good work Old Yale!

We are very picky up here in campbell river. Some beers that bypass comox, and farther south make it up here. One such brew is Sasquatch Stout by the Old Yale brewing company, and this is one good brew!!
