Opened in early 2014, started as a 'dream between three friends who share a passion for playing hockey and savouring beer'. (from company website) Founders include Don Farion and Dean Mallel, who have long-time roots in the Vancouver hospitality business, including the long-beloved Biercraft restaurants.

The brewery is conveniently located along the Adanac bike route and has a small but friendly tasting room with views into the brewery. In addition to being available on tap in pubs around town and in growlers on-site, Bomber started canning pretty much from the get-go, making for a great third option.
