Small brewery that opened in 1996. After a couple of years, started packaging in 650ml litre bottles with unique heritage-style photos on the labels. An honest, unpretenious microbrewery that serves up some great unique beers.

Alpine Amber Ale
(Brown Ale, 4.8%)
- (No longer available) Pleasant malty aroma, nice deep copper colour. Delicious balance of slightly roasted maltiness and gentle hoppiness. Excellent all around.

Attila the Honey
(Brown Ale, 5%)
- The clever name with 'honey' had me expecting another light honey beer, but this has suprisingly deep amber color, nice malty nose, and smooth full-bodied flavour. Very drinkable.

High Country Kolsch
(Kolsch, 4.5%)
- Bright golden colour, well carbonated. Clean hop aroma reminiscient of good European lagers. Not as thin-tasting as it looks, with some slight sweetness and light hop flavour and bitterness that comes through well. Refreshing alternative to a standard Canadian lager.

Tall Timber Ale
(Brown Ale, 5.5%)
- Deep reddish-brown colour. Malty nose accented by some inviting smokiness. Malty, smooth flavour, very low bitterness, and the gentle smokiness also comes through in the taste. Check out the old photo of the guy dancing with a deer on the label.
