Opened in fall 2013 in the charming Sunshine Coast town of Gibsons - appears to actually be situated on a hop farm in the area. Name inspired by the tugboat on the classic Canadian 70's tv show 'Beachcombers', based in Gibsons. Persephone is also the daughter of Zeus, and considered goddess of vegetation - good person to have on your side.
Off to a running start with award for top Stout at the 2013 BC Beer Awards.
Beyond Gibsons, the beer is available at select tap houses in Vancouver area.
