Paddywhack IPA (India Pale Ale, 6.5%) - Whether a result of the brewery's shift to organic ingredients or other reasons, this beer no longer carries the satisfying hop punch that formerly enabled it to live up to its name. Amber color with nice floral hoppy aroma, the flavour is all malt with disappointingly little hop bitterness in the finish. 1/10/2007

This IPA has been the best beer in B.C for me for the past 19 years. I love the balance,unlike all those puckerfaced American style IPA's. A guy could drink these all day long and be proud of supporting the organic movement. Cheers to the greatest India Pale Ale brewed fresh in Nelson

Probably my favourite BC beer, period. It's got a big hit of alcohol, but you wouldn't know it from tasting it -- the hops are dominant, but you're not overcome with bitterness like some IPAs. An absolutely great beer.

Sorry folks , this is one of B.C.'s premier IPA's , or Canada's . NOT a rough ride at all . Closest bottle to "out-of-the-tap" IPA there is
